cntxt is a browser extension that turns each browser window into a named "workspace": a saved list of tabs you can close and restore later. This policy explains what data the extension collects, why, and how you can have it removed.

What we collect

We do not read the content of the pages in your tabs, your browsing history outside of saved workspaces, your keystrokes, clicks, or mouse activity, and we do not collect health, financial, or location data.

Why we collect it

Workspace data, your account email, and authentication tokens exist for one purpose: to let you save, close, and restore a window's tabs — and, only if you sign in, to sync that same data across your devices. Nothing here is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to that.

Where it's stored

If you never sign in, everything stays local to your browser via chrome.storage and never leaves your device. If you sign in, workspace data, your email, and session tokens are also stored onSupabase, the backend we use for sync — under our account, not shared or resold to any other party.

Payments

Upgrading to a paid plan opens a checkout page hosted by Creem, our payment processor. cntxt never sees or stores your card details — Creem handles the transaction and tells us only that a given account has an active subscription.

What we don't do

Your choices

You can delete individual workspaces at any time from the extension. To delete your account and all associated data, or to ask what data we hold about you, email privacy@cntxt.work.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
